| The Champions |
Well we weren't really the champions, nor is this banner for us, but my kickball team did place third on Sunday and, considering past performance, I consider that a victory. Apparently I take kickball far to seriously as I've managed to incur a shin injury that causes my ankle to swell after standing on it. I don't remember having these sorts of troubles when playing kickball as a kid...
And congrats to Fayetteville High for being state champions at something. Your victory was praiseworthy enough for a sign, but not quite good enough to deserve a unique sign commemorating the event. I hope you at least got orange slices and capri-sun after the game.
