Portofino Bay |
So apparently the hotel I'm staying at in Orlando is supposed to be a replica of a town in Italy. Which is fine I suppose. So I was at the conference reception drinking complimentary Peroni (which was a fantastic choice) talking to a girl from England who described the mock up as "bloody rubbish" - which seemed pretty accurate. Much work has gone into making this place look "old" and "unique" when really everything is just some fancy paint work. It's amazing what us Americans are sold by. I'm sure Taylor would have a good laugh at it too. Anyway, I'm certainly not complaining, it's fun nonetheless. What can I say, I'm American.
