Time well wasted

Signs of the times
On our last night in Raleigh we wandered around South Glenstone, a street a few blocks off of downtown that has enough houses to make it look like a neighborhood but enough bars and restaurants to make it a pretty cool hang out. We came here a few nights for dinner, drinks, desert and of course, people watching. Apparently this restaurant had recently hit by the economy and closed. As we walked up the steps to its patio anyway, a couple stopped and asked us if it had closed. After replying that I wasn't from around there she said it was too bad, they had great soup. They also had a great patio overlooking the street, which Jess and I took advantage of regardless of the lack of patrons.
